Who we are
IB Marketing (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at hello@ibmarketing.co.uk or by post at [[REGISTERED ADDRESS]].
[[If you register as a limited company, add the company number and registered office here. If you are a sole trader, say so.]]
What we collect
We only collect what you send us. If you fill in a form on this site, that is:
- Your name and, if you give it, your business name
- Your email address and, if you give it, your phone number
- The project type and budget range you select
- Anything you write in the message box
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build a profile of you.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To deliver work you have commissioned. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep records of quotes and invoices. Lawful basis: legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in running the business properly.
We will not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote. If we ever want to send you marketing, we will ask first.
Who else sees your data
Only the suppliers who make the website work. Each is bound to process data on our instructions and nothing else:
- [[FORM HANDLER — e.g. Formspree]], which delivers form submissions to us
- [[HOSTING PROVIDER]], which hosts this website
- [[EMAIL PROVIDER]], where we read and reply to your message
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after [[12 MONTHS]]. Records relating to work we have done are kept for six years after the end of the relationship, because HMRC requires it.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. [[If you add analytics later — for example Google Analytics or Plausible — you must say so here, name the provider, and for anything non-essential you must ask for consent before it loads.]]
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to us using it. You can also ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@ibmarketing.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
